I'm all for finding love and "the one". With all of the dating websites and dating services and friends match making, it's enough to put your head on spin. People started looking for love on The Dating Game and now we have The Bachelor/Bachelorette, those crazy shows on MTV and VH1. Now I think we as single people are just getting desperate. Has anyone seen the promos for Love in the Wild on ABC? Now we are subjecting ourselves to being paired with a stranger and then doing challenges in the WILD? I mean come on! Isn't it hard enough to go on a first date in normal city (or country) settings. Now you want me to repel from a mountain or swing from a vine. Ummm No thank you very much! I'm sure this is geared more for the adventurous guy and gal but I'm going to stick with non life threatening situations on dates.
But I may tune into watch these couples brave the Wild. Do I think there will be a lasting love connection? I highly doubt that. But I guess you gotta do what you gotta do to find the ONE!
