The Beginning

Okay folks 2013 has started.  I hope everyone had a great last day of 2012.  Some if us (ahem, me) could barely contain our excitement for the ball to drop.  It took all I could to keep my little eyes open for the count down and watch that stupid ball drop.  And when i finally woke up enough to stay alert for the ten seconds it took for the ball to drop, I couldn't go back to sleep until 4 am.  Oh well.  I got caught up on my NCIS.  So I'll be ready for the new episodes when they start.  Speaking of new episodes.  Cougar Town is moving to TBS and I'm so excited!!  I love that show.  Despite the name, it really is a funny show and I love the cul de sac gang.  They make me want to have friends like that.  (Not that my friends aren't cool...)
Anyway.  The new year begins along with the new television season.  If you know me personally, you know that I love almost all things television.  There are so many amazing shows on tv right now and then there are shows that that make me ashamed to be well...a human.  Look I understand that reality tv is BIG and people become famous from them but some of these people should stay where they are...in the back hills, mountains, shores, and countries.  Why should I have to turn to TLC (which is called the learning channel)  And see a seven year old and her family dumpster diving for things to take back to their house to use?!  And they think it's okay that they do that.  Then on A&E I see a moonshiner who wants to remain hidden so they blur out his face and distort his voice so that you can't recognize him.  Um  I'm sorry if my dad was on tv with a blurred out face and distorted voice I'm pretty sure that I would know it's him!  I can only guess what 2013 will bring in the reality department.  I look forward in being annoyed and mystified and what will come out next.

Well it's back to work tomorrow, back to my own hill, mountain and shore people. They are up close and personal.  Perhaps I should watch these shows so that I can know what to do when I'm in their natural habitat.  Till then...
